"On The Black Hill"

In 1982 Bruce Chatwin wrote "On The Black Hill", featuring the borderlands around Hay-on-Wye. The novel was made into a film five years later and both give an evocative view of the timeless nature of the hill farming community. our tour will seek out locations from both book and film and will seek to illustrate the atmosphere so redolent in "On The Black Hill".
