Plynlimon ~ Pen Pumlumon Fawr

Pen Pumlumon Fawr summit, 2,468 feet above sea level

Plynlimon is a sprawling upland area whose summit, Pen Pumlumon Fawr is 2,468' above sea level. It is known as the father of the three great rivers of Mid Wales - Severn, Wye and Rheidol. We would like to take you for a day out on "Plyn". Not only could we traverse four 2,000 foot summits but could also see the sources of "Plynlimon's Daughters". From the top the views stretch north to Snowdonia, west to the glittering Cardigan Bay, east to the hills of Shropshire and south over the vast wilderness we know as the Elenydd, or Cambrian Mountains.
