The Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal

The Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal was completed in 1800 and stretches 35 miles from Brecon down to Newport. It makes a wonderful walk, either as 3 or 4 day walk, or in individual chunks. We will guide you, support you, arrange accommodation or luggage transfer for you. Or we can just take you to the best bits! The towpath is flat and easily walked, gives great views over the Usk Valley and can be combined with the Usk Valley Walk to make superb day walks.
