Elenydd ~ The Cambrian Mountains

Elenydd - the empty heart of Wales.

The Elenydd or Cambrian Mountains have been called "The Empty Heart of Wales". It is certainly the remotest, least populated, wildest area of Wales and southern Britain. Our walk seeks out the two peaks, Gorllwyn and Drygarn Fawr, which top 2,000 feet. It is a rugged and largely pathless mountain walk. We also have a range of less exposed walks in the Elan Valley estate.
