Cader Idris - a giant among mountains

Cader Idris is, arguably, the best mountain in Mid Wales. It is rugged and challenging, has numerous routes of ascent, contains glacial corries, tarns and cliffs. Situated close to the coast, there are superb views west to Cardigan Bay. It is one of our personally most climbed mountains, so we certainly love old Cader.
