Owain Glyndwr

Glyndwr Owain Glyndwr

Owain Glyndwr (1359 - 1415) was the "last true-born Prince of Wales" to some; a wild rebel to others. Shakespeare rendered him "the damned Glendower", the bane of Henry IV. Whatever your view of Glyndwr, he has made a huge impact upon the history of Wales and the nature of "welshness" among many. Glyndwr fought a long campaign against English royalist forces across Wales and our tour will visit the sites of battles and places of import to him. If you know little of him, bar a minor Shakespearean character, then our tour will bring the great man to life.
