Coastal Landforms - Ceredigion

submerged forest, Borth Post glacial rising sea levels have submerged a forest at Borth, Ceredigion.

Coasts are the most dynamic landscapes in Britain; they are constantly changing with the forces of erosion, weathering, mass movement and deposition battling to alter what we often assume to be permanent. Add to that sea and land level rises and falls and you can see that we have an intriguing area of study. Our tour will take you along the coast of Ceredigion, one of the less known but beautiful stretches of coastline. We will visit secluded coves, dramatic headlands, natural arches and growing spits among a host of other features along this coast.
