30th May - A Wye Valley Walk

Carol, from Minnesota, joined Rob for a walk in the Black Mountains as a forerunner to the Hay Literary Festival. However low cloud brought a change of plan and we ended up walking along the Wye Valley Walk and returning over the hills of the Llangoed Common.

A Spiritual Tour of Wales 22nd - 25th May

Melinda Swearingen from Vermont, USA joined Rob for a bespoke (tailor-made) tour that focused on holy wells, yew trees and places of spritual significance. Having attended the Shamanic Lands conference in Llandrindod, Melinda visited the Llanwrthwl, the Elan Valley and the mystical Hafod estate, near Cwmystwyth.

Staying at Rob's Swnygwy, the next day explored a series of holy church yards and wells such as atLlandefalle, Talachddu, Llanddew and Brecon cathedral. However the 5,600 year old yew tree at Defynnog stole the show! Such intensity and age.
