August 2018

The exceptional summer has declined into a normal summer by August - a truly mixed bag.

Ceredigion Coast ~ Cardigan - New Quay

Here's some pictures from our latest Wales Coast Path quest.

Ceredigion Coast ~ New Quay - Aberaeron

Ellen & Michael from Philadelphia on a two week walking tour of Wales joined Rob for a section of the Ceredigion Coast Path between New Quay and Aberaeron. These beautiful little towns are joined by a relatively gentle six mile stretch of the coast path.

Wales Coast Path ~ Machynlleth - Harlech

Three more days and this time it was the coast of Meirionydd in the southern Snowdonia National Park. The weather is cooling and much of this coast is low and sandy but the views inland to the mountains of Cader Idris and the Rhinogs are enthralling.

Wales Coastal Path ~ Machynlleth - Borth

Sarah and Rob walked down the beautiful Dyfi estuary from the Montgomeryshire market town of Machynlleth to the seaside village of Borth.
