We love hosting guests in this beautiful part of the Wye Valley. We've been offering B&B since 2015 and have met really great people staying in our home. We've never scored below 5/5 stars on Airbnb, so if you're looking for a friendly place to stay give us a call on 01874 754398 or email us on info@swnygwy.co.uk

As walkers, cyclists and canoeists ourselves, we extend a warm welcome to all and are happy to look after your wet gear and can get you to a nice restaurant or pub if you haven't got a car with you. If you've a dog with you we'll make sure there's a welcome for them too!

We have just one guest room, which is a large, sunny double bedroom with plenty of storage space and a shared bathroom. You're very welcome to share our lounge and garden where we grow much of the fruit and veg we eat. We also have solar panels that provide us with all our energy needs. Up to Easter, we'll have a roaring log fire to welcome you here too!

We are very happy to give suggestions about where to go or where to eat in the local area. We also offer guided tours, walks and cycle rides ourselves. You won't leave us hungry! We serve a full Welsh cooked breakfast or alternatives with a packed lunch on request. We also serve as much home grown food as possible including our own jams, marmlades and chutneys.

B&B costs between £40 and £60 per night for the double room. Discounts for single guests are available.

The village of Boughrood is an ideal location for walking, cycling, canoeing or fishing in the upper Wye valley. Ten minutes from Hay-on-Wye, fifteen from Brecon and Builth Wells, we are also adjacent to the T4 bus stop which offers a 2 hourly service between Cardiff, Brecon and Newtown. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, you'll be very welcome here; listening to the sound of the Wye - "Swn y Gwy"!
