Offa's Dyke Path

Offa's Dyke is an eighth century earthwork that stretches over 150 miles close to the present day border of Wales and England. The National Trail includes some beautiful stretches of hills and vales in Herefordshire. This tour includes two short stretches of the dyke that involves some strenuous walking that is rewarded by beautiful views and a sense of this remote land that was once ferociously fought over between Saxon and Celt.
